Paul Hannaford - Director
Paul is an Executive Director of the Ellington Savage Group - our parent company - and also leads the ESperille practice. Paul has over 20 years of recruitment experience, more than 17 of them with Ellington Savage. He concentrates on the more senior and complex assignments for clients across a range of industries. Prior to moving into recruitment, Paul served ten years in the finance sector, latterly in human resources.

Gareth Jones - Permanent Consultant
Gareth joined us in late 2009, bringing with him a decade of recruitment experience from the UK and Australia. Prior to relocating to Australia in 2005, Gareth spent five years honing his consulting skills in London where he built highly successful relationships with a number of top tier organisations. He worked a further four years recruiting senior professionals within the Sydney finance market before joining ESperille to strengthen the reach and capability of our permanent team. Gareth has risen to be the manager of that team, reflecting his capabilities and capitalising on several years’ experience in successfully leading multi-disciplined teams of consultants. But Gareth still sees his strengths lying in an ability to assess and understand the requirements of clients and candidates alike and is known for his ability to provide considered and comprehensive resourcing solutions.
Dale Jackson - Permanent Consultant
Dale is an experienced member of our permanent recruitment team. Joining us early in 2011, Dale brought more than 6 years of valuable experience recruiting for the accounting and finance markets of Australia and South Africa. This deep subject matter expertise is at the heart of his ability to resolve recruitment issues and in building a deep and current view of the candidate community. Like his colleagues, Dale is strongly committed to building strong and lasting business relationships. He holds a B.SocSc in Labour, Industry and Management and has completed post graduate studies in Enterprise Management.
Darlene Jeffs - Permanent Consultant
Darlene Jeffs is a Consultant with our permanent team, focusing mainly on marketing appointments in the Financial Services, Professional, Commercial and Media sectors.
Before joining us in 2007, Darlene served 10 years in Financial Services marketing working for large corporations including AMP, Citibank and MetLife. She has a background in a variety of roles ranging from marketing communications and brand & sponsorship management to product marketing and campaign management.
Gemma Nearney - Permanent Consultant
Originally from London, Gemma relocated to Australia in 2008 and started her career in recruitment - specialising in consulting to banking and finance clients. With a strong background in digital and retail marketing, Gemma brought an ideal balance of skills for our permanent recruitment team and joined the business in August of 2011. Gemma enjoys building and strengthening client relationships and now consults across a range of industries and disciplines, but with clear strengths in roles centring on marketing, communications and corporate affairs.
CONTRACTING TEAM
Lisa Macbeth - Contracting Consultant
Lisa joined ESperille in June 2011. Originally from Scotland, Lisa is now an experienced recruiter within the local financial services market. Since 2007 she has partnered with tier one local and international banks, wealth management and insurance companies to resolve a range of recruitment issues, but with some focus on roles in Accounting & Finance and Marketing & Communications. Before moving into recruitment, Lisa had an extensive career in sales. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Management, specialising in Marketing.
Katie Hislop - Resourcer
With a Bachelor of Science, Diploma of Education and a background in secondary teaching, Katie’s recruitment career commenced in 1997 with Morgan & Banks / TMP, where she was responsible for the recruitment of Human Resources practitioners across a broad range of industry sectors. Joining ESperille in 2007, Katie has been providing support to the permanent and contracting teams with their recruitment and resourcing requirements, specialising in marketing, project and change management, analytics and Human Resources appointments.
